Books for Everyone. The goal of the charity program at Livrel Publishing is to improve communities around the world and give more people access to books. Together with our sister company Livrel24 we have made it our mission to make digital books available to as many as possible, enabling people in the developing world to read and learn.
All of us volunteer our time, and whenever possible we endeavor to partner with other organisations in order to limit the costs. We also welcome collaboration with manufacturers, publishers, governments, and others who share our goal of Books for Everyone.
The e-book technology is reducing the cost and complexity of delivering reading material everywhere. We strive to implement infrastructure and partnerships to get e-readers to people in the developing world that have limited access to reading material.
Digital books have a number of advantages over physical books. The cost of delivering digital books is next to nothing, and as soon a e-readers are in place, you have access to hundreds of thousands of books, from textbooks to novels. The cost of digital books is also lower than for physical books, which means that it is cheaper to buy new books, many classics are even free.
Digital distribution also makes it possible to publish much more local content, including newspapers, magazines, flyers and newsletters, health and voting information, and more.
